Getting Those Clothing for Cheap

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

It can be very costly to be a woman in this world. Between make-up, clothing, and other fashion necessities the world expects a lot out of women and it can take a good amount of money to make exceed expectations.  If you don’t know how to shop for less it can be a total drain on the bank account, and that can cripple future retirement plans or other financial situations in the future.

First, target clearance sales in opposing seasons. In other words, try to get the leftovers of the holiday season in the Spring and get those shorts and t-shirts in the fall. This will save you a bundle when it comes to you’re clothing and if you can stay ahead of the curve, you’ll have an abundant supply of clothing on the cheap for a very long time. You may even get lucky and have a sale on the clearance items, and that will be extra savings. Now some will say this isn’t an appropriate strategy for those looking to stay ahead of fashion trends. These naysayers are right, however, do you want to be affordable and fashionable, or in debt just to say your trendy?

Also, when going in to stores have a plan. Sales associates, great deals and other distractions will try to get you to buy more then you actually want or came for. This can be costly in the end as your lured in for that cheap blouse but get the really expensive shoes and purse that go with it. You can surely go about and find something else that matches a dress or blouse for cheaper, don’t get caught up in the convenience of impulse if you don’t have the money to spend.
