Purses, Just Got to Have Them

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

No matter what kind of woman you are, you have to have a purse. Sometimes it can seem unfair that women need to carry around purses while men only get the wallet but it’s a necessity of our times. Keeping make-up for touch ups and other womanly supplies when be a pain otherwise. Luckily, purses are great way to add a little extra to an outfit and have unsurprisingly become a fashion accessory over time.

There are a number of brands of varying quality out there to choose from and it can be difficult to decide. With any given purse price being as high as several thousand dollars or as low as a few bucks it can be even harder to distinguish what you’re even getting. Sometimes paying that much doesn’t actually increase the quality, the cheaper, more affordable options can be of better quality and last longer. However, price does give items a stigma of higher esteem and these kinds of purses become status symbols more than anything.

Of course, everything goes into my purse. I have one of those big baggy looking, arm hanging purses, not a dinky little handbag that some women can get away with having. I’m just carrying way to much to not have the bigger purse, and having kids adds to that load. Between my money, quick treats for the kids, my womanly goods, and random other things like chapstick I can almost live in my purse. Perhaps I’m on the extreme end of things but either way every woman has to have her purse. You should look at some of the best purse brands if you haven’t already.

Good Ole’ Pair of Jeans

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Jeans for many are the corner stone of their attire. Whether it’s specifically for fashion or simply because it practical for work purposes, they are a staple of every wardrobe. Finding a nice comfortable can be a challenge actually, particularly if you don’t like shopping around and trying things on. Designer jeans are out when it comes to good ole’ comfort, they’re typically to tight and more apt for looking at parties rather than simple everyday wear. On top of that they’re to expensive.

The better bet would be to snag some jeans at a discount store for nice easy lounge wear. They’re generally looser fitting and can be bought in a number of varied sizes. While none of them are going to fit anyone perfectly, department store jeans tend to try to fit everyone, but they’re not going to cost you a lot nor disappoint when just needing something quick to wear.

Personally, I’m a fan of my pair of Route 66 jeans. They were on sale when I got them and can be worn either around the house for simple cleaning tasks or out and about getting things done out of the house. I’ve actually recently bought a couple more as I love them so much and don’t want to ruin any of them to fast. I have a friend who is a big fan of the Rider brand of jeans.

Whether you’re looking for comfort or just something cheap, a good ole’ pair of jeans can go a long way.
